The French iconic bookseller Gibert chooses Plug-and-Carry® to automate its order preparation.

Context:

The famous bookseller Gibert decides to trust BOA Concept to increase the productivity of its site in Vitry-sur-Seine (94). Indeed, the brand was looking for a partner capable of providing a solution capable of absorbing the growth in e-commerce flows that Gibert has been experiencing for several years and which was further accentuated in 2020. The buying and selling of second-hand books is going well: it has therefore become necessary to automate the packing and sorting part of orders.

The modularity and flexibility of BOA Concept solutions also contributed to the choice of Plug-and-Carry®: it was indeed essential to be able to modify the installation according to Gibert’s future growth.

The installation now allows Gibert to further enhance its customer promise. Finally, one of the bookseller’s requirements was the need for a rapid ROI.
