Boa Concept launches Plug-and-Carry® 2.0
Optimized mechanics, an even more natural configurator, new modular elements that complete the range, more native interfaces to intralogistics equipment, simplification of on-site assembly operations is the recipe for the new generation of smart modular conveyor Plug-and-Carry®2.0 opens new possibilities for the user to design and operate the system.
Simplify the client path
5 years after the first Plug-and-Carry® modules, Boa concept offers a new generation of smart modular conveyors. The new Plug-and-Carry® will further increase user autonomy: simplifying the product configurator, reducing the number of parts making up the modular elements, and integrating user experience feedbacks.
The range is supplemented by additional modular elements for deviations and injections, weighing modules, labelling or document removal, but it also offers native interfaces to external elements such as Qimarox lifts, Packaging machines, document delivery systems, flexible conveyors, to allow Plug-and-Carry® handling lines to be fully integrated in the heart of the intralogistics ecosystem. The external elements are thus connected to the same network as the Plug-and-Carry® elements and benefit from its innovative control-command system, just like the native Plug-and-Carry® elements.
The Plug-and-Carry® 2.0 remains, like the initial system, very easy to maintain, facilitated even more by the reduction of the number of parts constituting the modular elements. Boa Concept’s R & D teams were particularly attentive to the ergonomics of use and maintenance of the new line.
The range is also accompanied by a simplified configurator which allows the user to easily constitute its implementation and imagine its evolutions.
The native advantages of Plug-and-Carry® are thus amplified in the new range:
- Easier design
- Internal maintenance
- Shortened project times
- Availability and fluidity of installations
A new range already installed since September 2016
The first modules of the Plug-and-Carry® 2.0 were commissioned during the last months of 2016. To date, more than 2000 meters of Plug-and-Carry 2.0 are already in operation, in different configurations (Sorting, packaging lines, preparation at stations, etc.) in the B2B and B2C trades.
The new range is fully compatible with the previous version. Some Plug-and-Carry® users of the first hour have already made changes to their handling line without having to worry about the compatibility of both versions because this parameter was considered in the Plug-and-Carry ® 2.0 conception. All Plug-and-Carry® users can now enjoy the benefits of the new range while continuing to exploit their current line.
